During the Northern Song Dynasty, skilled swordsman Zhao Zhan saves Justice Bao Zhen’s life and earns a reward. When Justice Bao is framed and imprisoned, Zhan must defend the court alone. To defeat their common enemies, he needs the Five Mice’s help—but tensions rise as he and Yu Tang clash, both in battle and over the affections of the formidable swordswoman Ding Yue Hua.
