Synopsis
In Good Taste pairs a food expert with entertainers to form a city-by-city eating expedition across five of Guangdong's great flavour capitals: Guangzhou, Huizhou, Dongguan, Shantou and Shenzhen. Using food as the way in, the show records traditional craft, family-run kitchens and the passing of skills from master to apprentice, mapping the palate of each city. Every proposition is backed by evidence — ingredients, technique, restaurants and the people behind them — building toward a generous and complete table of human flavour.
