Synopsis
In his youth, Fu Yun Xian was an idealistic lawyer who firmly believed in justice and the legal system. His determination to clear the name of his first client, Xu Wen Jun, exposed him to a world where power and personal interests could distort the truth. The case brought him recognition, but years of confronting the darker side of the law gradually transformed him into a formidable criminal defense attorney willing to operate in the gray areas between law and morality. Xu Su, the son of Fu Yun Xian’s first client, has admired him since childhood as the man who risked everything to seek justice for his father. After circumstances derail Xu Su’s own future, Fu Yun Xian takes him under his wing and brings him into Junhan Law Firm. Despite their contrasting outlooks, Xu Su’s unwavering sense of justice becomes a reminder of the ideals Fu Yun Xian once held.
