Now Hoffman is wanted for murder, he flees to Mallorca. There he meets Ines and her husband Vincent, who's bound to a wheelchair. Ines offers Jo shelter, if he helps her to renovate their villa. Vincent watches them jealously. When he learns that Jo's searched by the police, he wants Ines to kick him out - but she'd rather help him to prove his innocence.
