Synopsis
The film documents a pioneering lung autotransplantation procedure performed by Romanian surgeons. The operation involves completely removing the patient’s diseased lung, surgically excising the part damaged by the disease on the operating table, and then reimplanting the healthy portion of the organ into the patient’s body.
