Synopsis
The concert at the "Elphi" is Anna Lapwood’s first solo concert to be filmed in its entirety for television. The British musician’s enthusiasm for her instrument is infectious. Whether performing classical pieces or fresh arrangements, she captivates both the concert audience and her millions of social media followers with her personality and her playing at Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie. Young organist Anna Lapwood combines works by Eugène Gigout and Benjamin Britten with her own arrangements of film soundtracks ranging from ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, to ‘Interstellar’, or ‘The Lord of the Rings’. Lapwood also demonstrates her flair for entertainment through her humorous introductions to the organ pieces. Her performance at the Elbphilharmonie is atmospherically enhanced by a lighting design, making the concert a truly special experience. Recording from October 22, 2025 (2025-10-22), at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.
