Synopsis

Pep Gimeno "Botifarra" is not only a prodigious singer, he is, above all, a tireless collector of traditional Valencian songs. Throughout his life, he has sought out and recovered all the songs that have come within his reach. But at the same time, his interest in popular culture has made him a profound connoisseur of popular literature: fables, proverbs, sayings, riddles, jokes, and anecdotes. And so, Pep Gimeno "Botifarra" has become a successful singer, beloved throughout the Mediterranean, because at the heart of this whole story we find a humble and transparent person, a tireless collector of songs, culture, and memory.
