It's almost Chinese New Year, and the township is holding a Dong song contest, in which Xiaoji won the first place in the primary school song contest. The whole family hoped that their parents would come back soon for a reunion, but time and time again, they were disappointed. In order to let the children whose parents are not back have a happy New Year's Eve, Teacher Xu and the village chief organised a lively New Year's Eve dinner for the whole village.
