Biografia
Malden recitò anche in film hollywoodiani di grande rilievo come Baby Doll (1956), The Hanging Tree (1959), How the West Was Won (1962), Gypsy (1962) e Patton (1970). Dal 1972 al 1977 interpretò il tenente Mike Stone nel dramma televisivo poliziesco in prima serata The Streets of San Francisco. In seguito fu portavoce di American Express. Malden è stato presidente dell'Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences dal 1989 al 1992.
