Biography
Dario La Rosa is a Peruvian filmmaker who found his most authentic means of expression in this art form. He studied Audiovisual Communication and Film at the University of Sciences and Arts of Latin America (UCAL), where he developed a passion for screenwriting. He recently pursued a diploma in audiovisual writing at Vancouver Film School. During his academic training, he participated in the production of various short films and music videos as director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and editor. Among his notable works are “Todo a medias” (2023), “Desamparo de una estrella” (2023), “Hospital Nacional” (2023), “Los Ellos” (2024), “Leche de Tigre” (2024), and “Elián” (2024). His filmography is characterized by its disruptive and entertaining approach, dynamic and evocative editing, and stories and characters that encourage interpretation and reflection. Today, he is a co-founder of Tiramipunk Productions and is looking for professional expansion to develop his style as an author and help others find their voice in the audiovisual medium.
