Biography
Wilson Louis is an award-winning Indian film director and VFX pioneer based in Mumbai, with 25 years redefining genre cinema. Known for India's first daylight creature-horror Kaalo (2010) which crossed 106M+ YouTube views and won Best Film & Cinematography at South African Horrorfest, and Ho Sakta Hai (2006) - India's first black magic thriller whose script is archived at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences' Margaret Herrick Library (Oscar Library). He also directed Mallika (2010), trending on Jio OTT. Former VP & Head of Programming at Maya Entertainment, FutureWorks, Glint Studio. VFX Producer for 40+ Bollywood films including Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Koi Mil Gaya, Ghulam, Mangal Pandey. His shorts Perfect Timing (25+ awards) and Holding Back (21+ awards) won internationally. Festival jury member, AI+VFX consultant, founder of Metablockfilms.
