On the day of her wedding, her fiancé elopes with her concubine-born younger sister. Shen Ruojin marries her would-be brother-in-law, Qin Lang, on the spot instead. Young Prince Qin Lang is the infamous little devil of the capital, known for his reckless, womanizing ways. On their wedding night, he even abandons Shen Ruojin to linger in the pleasure quarters. Everyone says he married her just for amusement, but Shen Ruojin only smiles it off. She is a fierce daughter of a military family, her ambitions set on the world beyond the inner chambers. Did they really think she couldn’t wield a blade? Watch as this formidable general’s daughter tames her wayward husband, driving him to slay their sworn enemies, rise to the pinnacle of power, and place supreme authority into her hands.
