Biografie
Adam Wingard ist ein US-amerikanischer Filmemacher. Er war als Regisseur, Produzent, Drehbuchautor, Cutter, Kameramann, Schauspieler und Komponist an zahlreichen US-amerikanischen Filmen beteiligt. Nachdem er zunächst der Mumblecore-Bewegung angehörte, erlangte er Bekanntheit durch seine Werke im Horror- und Action-Genre, insbesondere durch die Filme „You’re Next“ (2011) und „The Guest“ (2014) sowie die aufwendigeren Franchise-Filme „Blair Witch“ (2016), „Death Note“ (2017) und „Godzilla vs. Kong“ (2021) und dessen Fortsetzung „Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire“ (2024).
