Biografía

Naufal Ridho Pangestu fell in love with film at the market. His parents often took him there and bought him a few DVDs along the way, and those discs became his first cinema. His passion found its path in high school, when he made his first film as its editor and began working on other productions. That film won First Place nationally in a competition organized by BEKRAF, Indonesia’s Creative Economy Agency at the time. In 2018 he enrolled at the Faculty of Film and Television at the Jakarta Institute of the Arts (IKJ), specializing in directing. Since then he has kept growing through film projects and building his career as a filmmaker, drawn to personal stories, family relationships, and social issues, the things closest to him and to the people around him.
