Biografie
Paul Antony Young ist ein englischer Musiker, Sänger und Songwriter. Er war Frontmann der kurzlebigen Bands Kat Kool & the Kool Cats, Streetband und Q-Tips und wurde in den 1980er-Jahren mit seinen Soloerfolgen zum Teenie-Idol. Zu seinen Hitsingles zählen „Love of the Common People“, „Wherever I Lay My Hat“, „Come Back and Stay“, „Every Time You Go Away“ und „Everything Must Change“, die allesamt die Top 10 der britischen Singlecharts erreichten. Sein 1983 erschienenes Debütalbum „No Parlez“ war das erste von drei Nummer-eins-Alben in Großbritannien.
