Ben Hicks

Biografía

Ben Hicks is a writer/director who brings an international perspective to American storytelling. After making two award-winning short films, he moved abroad, spending over a decade living across Asia and Europe and seeking new ways of understanding the world. Those experiences helped shape his feature debut, Kids Go Free, which has been supported by Gotham Lab, US & French Connection, and US in Progress. The film will have its world premiere at the 2027 International Film Festival Rotterdam.
