Biyografi

Melisa Kenanoğlu was born in 2001. She moved to Istanbul, where she graduated from the Cinema Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. In 2023, she directed the documentary *Love is Revolution*, followed by her first fiction short film, *Rememberings*, in 2024. After screening at various festivals and receiving awards, *Rememberings* was followed by her second fiction short film, *Shadow on the Shore*, shot in 2026. Alongside her work as a director, she works as an assistant director in the film industry. Her films explore themes of memory, loss, and belonging.
