Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, besser bekannt unter seinem Künstlernamen CeeLo Green (oder Cee Lo Green), ist ein US-amerikanischer Singer-Songwriter, Rapper, Komponist, Plattenproduzent, Schauspieler und Unternehmer. Green ist bekannt für seine Soul-Musik, darunter die Hit-Singles „Crazy“ und „Fuck You“. Green wurde in Atlanta, Georgia, geboren und erlangte zunächst als Mitglied der Southern-Hip-Hop-Gruppe Goodie Mob Bekanntheit. Anschließend startete er eine Solokarriere und veröffentlichte zwei Alben bei Arista Records: „Cee-Lo Green and His Perfect Imperfections“ (2002) und „Cee-Lo Green… Is the Soul Machine“ (2004). Greens nächstes Projekt war Gnarls Barkley, eine Zusammenarbeit mit DJ Danger Mouse. Im Jahr 2006 landete das Duo mit „Crazy“ einen weltweiten Hit, der in zwanzig Ländern, darunter den USA und Großbritannien, die Top 5 erreichte. Mit Gnarls Barkley veröffentlichte Green zwei Alben: das 2006 mit Platin ausgezeichnete „St. Elsewhere“ und „The Odd Couple“ aus dem Jahr 2008. Im Jahr 2010 setzte Green seine Solokarriere mit dem Album „The Lady Killer“ fort, aus dem sein größter Solo-Hit, „Fuck You“, hervorging.
