Biographie
David Mackenzie (né le 10 mai 1966) est un réalisateur écossais et cofondateur de la société de production Sigma Films. Il a réalisé dix longs métrages dont Young Adam (2003), Hallam Foe (2007), Perfect Sense (2011) et Starred Up (2013). En 2016, le film de Mackenzie Hell or High Water a été diffusé pour la première fois à Cannes et est sorti au cinéma aux États-Unis en août. En octobre 2016, Mackenzie participe à Damnation, un pilote de télévision pour Universal et USA Network. Mackenzie a également réalisé Outlaw King (2018), un film historique pour Netflix. Les films de David Mackenzie n'appartiennent pas parfaitement à un genre ou un type particulier.
