Biografie
Hiroshi Fukutomi ist ein japanischer Animationsregisseur aus der Präfektur Kōchi. Seine Frau ist die Animatorin Kazuko Fukutomi. Nachdem er Tokyo Designer Gakuin (heute Tokyo Net Wave) verlassen hatte, arbeitete er für A Production (heute Shin-Ei Douga). 1982 gründete er zusammen mit Yoshinubo Sanada, Toshiyuki Honda und Makoto Moriwaki, die damals an der Serie „Kaibutsu-kun“ mitwirkten, die Animationsproduktionsfirma Animaru-Ya (heute Ekura Animaru). Aktuell ist er hauptsächlich für Studio Comet tätig.
