Biografie
Alexander Hilary Kurtzman ist ein US-amerikanischer Filmemacher. Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch seine Drehbücher zu Transformers (2007), Transformers: Die Rache (2009), Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) und The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), die er gemeinsam mit seinem Drehbuch- und Produktionspartner Roberto Orci verfasste. Außerdem führte er Regie bei Die Mumie (2017), an der er auch am Drehbuch mitwirkte. Sein Regiedebüt gab er mit People Like Us (2012), einem Film, den er zusammen mit Orci und Jody Lambert schrieb. Kurtzman arbeitet, ebenso wie Orci, häufig mit Michael Bay und J.J. Abrams zusammen und ist Mitentwickler der Fernsehserien Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard und Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
