Biographie
Gérard Courant est un cinéaste, écrivain, acteur, poète et producteur indépendant français né le 4 décembre 1951 à Lyon (France). Il est l'un des réalisateurs les plus prolifiques du cinéma. Il a inventé, réalisé et produit le Cinématon, le film le plus long du monde (il dure 209 heures). En tout, il a tourné plus de 7 000 portraits filmés et un nombre très important d'autres films (près de 1 300) depuis le début des années 1970. Il a également publié plusieurs ouvrages sur le cinéma.
