Carlos Santana ist ein US-amerikanischer Gitarrist mexikanischer Herkunft, der durch seine Musikrichtung des Latin Rock die Rockmusik um eine Variante erweitert hat. Seine bekanntesten Stücke sind das Instrumental Samba pa ti, sowie Oye como va und Black Magic Woman; alle vom Nummer-eins-Album Abraxas aus dem Jahr 1970.
